The team handles complex complex infrastructure projects, acts in relation to conventional power generation issues, advises on large-scale offshore wind projects and also advises on high-value development projects. They are also recognised as specialists in 'Net Zero Carbon' technologies, such as carbon capture and low-carbon hydrogen developments. There is an established client base including the majority of the UK's top 50 contractors, a large number of the top contractors worldwide and an impressive range of private and public sector clients. The team also act across several sectors including infrastructure and energy, property, waste, education, transport and health. The role is wide-ranging and you can expect to be involved in the highest quality national and international construction work. ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate will be a talented newly qualified solicitor with experience in infrastructure, energy and/or real estate related transactional (non-contentious) construction work. The following skills/attributes are also required: · Experience in a large commercial firm, in-house legal team or local authority. · A team player, with the interpersonal skills necessary for this client-facing role. · The ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients. · Technically strong and exercise good commercial judgment. · A strong commercial acumen.
