Commercial & Projects Senior or Principal Associate | 5+ PQE | Leeds A leading national firm is looking to welcome an experienced commercial projects solicitor to their busy team based in Leeds, focusing on the procurement of student accommodation. This is a dynamic and active sector and you will be regularly involved in high value and high profile projects. The Commercial Projects team is regularly involved in high value and high profile projects, often with significant national importance. The main area of focus for this role will be a variety of contractual agreements linked to student accommodation, a sector of which the team are at the forefront. The work is varied and interesting, to include advice on: procurement strategies; joint venture arrangements; long-term project/operating agreements; complex project finance and income strip funding structures; long term facilities management arrangements. ABOUT YOU · Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE. · Strong background in the projects/commercial field. · Demonstrable experience advising on major commercial contracts. · The ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, clients and multipliers. · The ability to work under pressure and often to strict deadlines. · Experience in the student accommodation sector will be advantageous, but is not essential. · Experience working on project agreements in the wider PFI/PPP markets is also a plus, but is not essential. · Willing to play a key part in business development. OTHER INFORMATION · Market-leading salary from c.£70k upwards depending on experience. · Hybrid working with a vibrant Leeds City Centre office.
