5th - 8th year M&A Associate (Vault top-20 firm)

A Vault top-20 ranked law firm in New York, NY is seeking an Associate to join its Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) team within the Corporate Department. In this role, the Associate will have the opportunity to represent a variety of clients in both public and private company transactions. Responsibilities will include conducting thorough legal research, drafting and preparing key transaction documents, and providing strategic legal guidance on complex M&A matters. The Associate will also analyze the legal ramifications of client actions and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience at a leading international law firm, with a specialized focus on mergers and acquisitions. Key duties will involve drafting and negotiating transaction documents, conducting due diligence, offering advice on securities law issues, and providing legal counsel on a broad range of corporate matters. Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree or its equivalent from an accredited law school and hold a valid New York State law license.
