Position Overview:
The firm is seeking an M&A / Private Equity Associate with 2-6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join its highly regarded New York team. This role presents a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of significant M&A and private equity transactions, representing leading corporations, private equity sponsors, and financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advising on both domestic and international M&A transactions, private equity investments, and joint ventures.
* Leading transaction structuring, conducting due diligence, and handling negotiations, drafting, and closing documentation.
* Collaborating with senior attorneys and partners on major deals across multiple sectors, including technology, healthcare, and finance.
* Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders, delivering pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice.
Candidate Requirements:
* 2-6 years of experience at a leading law firm within M&A, private equity, or related practice areas.
* Strong academic credentials and bar admission in New York.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions, work effectively in teams, and communicate clearly.
* Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
