A highly respected law firm is seeking a talented Corporate Associate to join its New York office. The successful candidate will primarily focus on venture capital transactions and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), supporting clients across a wide array of industries in sophisticated corporate matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle a variety of corporate transactions, including venture capital investments and mergers and acquisitions.
* Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating key legal documents and agreements.
* Collaborate with partners, clients, and other team members to ensure seamless transaction execution.
* Conduct due diligence, regulatory research, and provide strategic legal advice.
* Engage in direct client interactions to deliver commercially focused solutions.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience: 2-4 years of relevant corporate law experience in venture capital and/or M&A from a recognized law firm.
* Education: J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
* Skills: Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Admission: Must be admitted to the New York Bar.
Compensation and Benefits
* Base Salary Range: $235,000 - $310,000, commensurate with experience.
