Are you a senior real estate lawyer ready to take the next step in your career? An elite international law firm is seeking a talented Real Estate Senior Associate to join their top-tier London-based Real Estate practice.
This is a rare opportunity to join one of the UK's most highly regarded real estate teams, working on high-value, complex transactions with a stellar client base across a wide range of sectors. The team advises on the full spectrum of real estate matters - from investment and development to landlord and tenant, real estate finance, planning and environmental law.
THE ROLE
As a Senior Associate, you'll play a key role in the continued growth and success of the team. You'll have exposure to a wide variety of sophisticated matters, including:
- Drafting and negotiating lease agreements, licences to assign/underlet, and deeds of variation
- Advising on sales and acquisitions of leasehold and freehold property (including conditional sales and portfolio transactions)
- Supporting on development projects, often working closely with planning and construction specialists
- Liaising with lenders on real estate finance matters, including preparing reports on title
- Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and trainees
- Contributing to business development and maintaining strong client relationships
This role will suit a commercial, technically strong real estate lawyer who enjoys working as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
THE CANDIDATE
To thrive in this position, you will have:
- A minimum of 5 years' PQE gained within a leading City or regional real estate practice
- Solid experience across a broad range of commercial property matters
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with strong attention to detail
- A commercial and client-focused approach
- The ability to manage multiple matters and mentor junior lawyers effectively
- Proven business development experience and a desire to contribute to the team's growth
