An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a talented Real Estate lawyer to join a top-tier national law firm in its highly respected City of London office. This role sits within the firm's renowned real estate practice, offering a broad and stimulating mix of high-value, complex matters for a prestigious client base.

Working as part of a high-performing national team, you'll advise a diverse range of clients including universities and colleges, institutional and corporate landowners, national farming businesses, charities, pension funds, and the owners of prominent landed estates.
This role offers real breadth, allowing you to work across a variety of real estate matters including:
- Investment acquisitions and disposals
- Development projects for educational institutions and charitable organisations
- Sale and purchase of agricultural land, farms, and rural estates
- Agricultural tenancies and business leases
- Farming partnerships and succession planning
- Renewable energy projects (including wind, solar, and other green initiatives)
- Mineral leases and rural infrastructure arrangements
- Estate structuring, strategic land transactions, and hybrid promotion schemes
- Refinancing and tax-driven restructuring for landowners and rural businesses
You'll have the opportunity to develop deep sector knowledge while building lasting relationships with clients, agents, and other stakeholders. This is a highly collaborative team that supports hands-on involvement and commercial awareness.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years' PQE with a strong background in real estate matters
- Experience in agricultural or rural property is advantageous, but not essential
- Familiarity with strategic land, development projects, and promotion agreements
- A sound understanding of the tax and commercial considerations underpinning complex transactions
- Strong client-facing skills and the ability to manage trusted relationships
- A proactive, commercially minded, and ambitious approach to practice
