Planning Solicitor - London A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a talented Planning Solicitor to join its growing team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects for a diverse client base, including local authorities, developers, registered providers, NHS Trusts, and major corporate clients. You will advise on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious planning matters, including: - Planning agreements; drafting and negotiating Section 106 and other infrastructure agreements. - Compulsory purchase and highways advice; supporting regeneration and development projects. - Planning appeals and judicial reviews; advising on and challenging planning decisions. - Environmental and heritage considerations; advising on listed buildings, conservation areas, and contaminated land. - Development consent orders; working on nationally significant infrastructure projects. The Candidate: - A qualified solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE in planning law. - Experience advising both public and private sector clients. - Strong technical knowledge of planning appeals, compulsory purchase, and planning agreements. - A proactive and commercially minded approach to client service.
