Construction Litigation Solicitor - Senior Associate
A leading London-based team is seeking a talented Construction Litigation Solicitor to join as a Senior Associate. This role is ideal for a solicitor with 5-8 years PQE looking to contribute to a growing and dynamic Construction and Engineering practice.
You will work closely with fee-earners and partners, providing expert advice to clients on construction phase advisory and contentious matters. Your work will primarily focus on:
- Advising on the avoidance, management, and resolution of disputes.
- Representing clients in adjudication, litigation, mediation, and arbitration.
- Delivering advice on a range of construction disputes, including:
- Payment disputes, including pay-less notices.
- Claims related to delays, variations, loss, expense, and disruption.
- Defective design, materials, and workmanship.
- Termination, suspension, and professional negligence.
Candidate requirements:
- A qualified solicitor with 5-8 years PQE in construction litigation.
- Proven experience in contentious construction matters and construction phase advisory work.
- Strong technical ability to manage complex disputes effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills and a client-focused approach.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work efficiently in a busy department.
