Real Estate Associate
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Real Estate Associate to join a highly regarded international law firm in London. This top-tier practice is renowned for its expertise in advising on high-value, complex real estate matters for a prestigious client base, including pension funds, specialist REITs, overseas investors, private equity firms, developers, and public sector bodies.
The team handles an impressive array of projects, including investments and developments in offices, retail and shopping centres, business and retail parks, hotels, industrial estates, logistics parks, datacentres, build-to-rent schemes, co-living spaces, and student accommodation.
This position offers an exciting range of responsibilities across the real estate lifecycle, including:
- Conducting due diligence for acquisitions.
- Managing disposals of investment assets.
- Supporting regeneration and redevelopment projects.
- Drafting and negotiating agreements for lettings and pre-lettings.
- Preparing associated property documents, such as side letters, conditional and unconditional agreements for lease or surrender, options, deeds of variation, and licences to assign, alter, or underlet.
- Advising on joint ventures and funding arrangements, including title investigations, certificates of title, and managing the financing process.
- Participating in business development initiatives, including delivering client training and preparing thought leadership pieces.
- Collaborating with the firm's Innovation team to leverage AI and tech solutions for greater efficiency.
About You:
- Between NQ and 2 years' PQE, with a strong track record in real estate law gained from a leading practice.
- Excellent academic background, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality client service and a proactive approach to business development.
