An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Real Estate Lawyer to join a leading West End practice in London. With a distinguished reputation for advising corporate, institutional, and private clients, this firm is known for its expertise in commercial property matters. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and dynamic team, providing high-quality advice on a range of transactional and non-transactional matters.
The Real Estate team works with an impressive client base, including private property companies, estates, entrepreneurs, funds, and high-net-worth individuals. The firm is widely recognized for its bespoke and commercially astute approach, with a particular focus on complex development projects and high-value property transactions.
The role offers exposure to a variety of high-profile and complex matters, with key responsibilities including:
- Development: Advising on commercial property development projects, including site acquisitions, planning, and construction agreements.
- Sales and Purchases: Managing the acquisition and disposal of commercial properties, often involving multi-million-pound transactions.
- Landlord and Tenant: Drafting and negotiating leases, lease renewals, and other landlord-tenant matters.
- Banking and Finance: Acting for banks and financial institutions in securing property assets, including the negotiation of facility agreements and security documentation.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' PQE in Real Estate law, ideally gained from a leading firm.
- Experience advising on complex commercial property development projects.
- Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant law and property finance.
- Excellent client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Proven ability to lead on transactions, work independently, and mentor junior team members.
