Property Litigation Solicitor
A leading national practice is seeking a talented Property Litigation Solicitor with 1-3 years' PQE to join their well-established and highly respected team, in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to handle a wide variety of contentious property matters, working with a diverse client base that includes developers, housing associations, landlords, tenants, and property management companies.
You will manage a broad caseload of property disputes, including but not limited to:
- Landlord and Tenant Disputes: Handling both residential and commercial disputes, including breaches of lease, rent arrears, and forfeiture.
- Possession Proceedings: Advising landlords on recovering possession of their properties.
- Service Charge and Rent Disputes: Representing landlords and tenants in disputes over service charges, maintenance fees, and ground rent.
- Lease Renewals and Enfranchisement: Advising on statutory lease renewals and collective enfranchisement under the Leasehold Reform Act.
- Boundary Disputes and Easements: Resolving issues involving rights of way, boundary disagreements, and access disputes.
- Breach of Covenant Claims: Enforcing or defending claims relating to restrictive covenants in leases.
You will also have the opportunity to advise on complex, high-value disputes and contribute to the team's business development efforts by building strong client relationships and participating in networking events.
About You:
- 1-3 years' PQE in property litigation, with experience handling a variety of property disputes.
- Strong technical knowledge of property law, including landlord and tenant law, leasehold enfranchisement, and dispute resolution.
- Experience managing your own caseload, with a proactive and commercially minded approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
