Property Lawyer An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Property Lawyer to join a prestigious London firm. This role is ideal for a solicitor with 4-6 years' PQE, offering the chance to work with Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) individuals, families, and companies investing in prime central London properties. The Property team is recognized for its exceptional service and expertise in handling some of the most exclusive property transactions in the UK. Clients are predominantly international, with established interests in UK assets, particularly from the Middle East. The team also has a strong focus on private banking, including Shariah-compliant lending. The successful candidate will act on high-value transactions, including: - Acquisitions and Disposals: Managing purchases and sales of UK real estate, including new build properties (up to £3 million) and high-value second-hand properties (£5 million - £20 million). - Financing: Advising private banks on secured lending over residential properties, including Islamic finance structures. - Transactional Work: Handling a variety of matters such as lettings, licenses to assign, underlet, and alter, as well as deeds of variation. - Due Diligence: Preparing Reports on Title, drafting and negotiating transactional documents, and managing high volumes of email correspondence. - Client Interaction: Acting as a key point of contact for UHNW individuals, providing high-quality advice on complex, time-sensitive transactions. Key Requirements: - 4-6 years' PQE in residential property law, ideally with experience in high-value transactions. - Strong knowledge of prime central London property markets. - Experience advising international clients and private banks, including on Islamic finance transactions. - Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with a meticulous eye for detail. - Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously, working efficiently under pressure. - Strong client management and communication skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
