Property Lawyer An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Property Lawyer to join a leading international law firm based in the City of London. This role is ideal for a newly qualified solicitor or someone with up to 1 year of post-qualification experience, offering the chance to work on a broad range of high-value and complex property matters for a prestigious global client base. The Property team advises an elite and diverse client base, including: - Buyers and sellers of family homes, city pied-à-terre, country estates, and cottages. - Residential developers and commercial investors building real estate portfolios. - Landed estate owners with agricultural, residential, and commercial interests. - International clients seeking to acquire and manage real estate assets across jurisdictions. The team also provides strategic property advice, assisting clients with tax-efficient structures for holding real estate assets and managing acquisitions in foreign jurisdictions. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide range of high-value transactions and advisory work, including: - Residential Real Estate: Advising domestic and international clients on buying and selling family homes, development sites, and investment properties in the UK. - Landed Estates: Working on acquisitions and management of country estates, grouse moors, and agricultural land, with a focus on innovative land use and commercial opportunities. - Strategic Property Advice: Assisting with land development projects involving leisure and tourism, navigating inheritance tax planning, agricultural tenancies, and conservation issues. - International Transactions: Coordinating cross-border acquisitions and providing multi-jurisdictional advice. Key Requirements: - Newly qualified solicitor or up to 1 year of post-qualification experience in property law. - Strong interest in high-value residential property and landed estates. - Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple transactions and work under pressure to meet deadlines. - A proactive and commercial mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
