As a Construction Associate, you will manage a diverse and high-value caseload of non-contentious construction work. Key responsibilities include: - Drafting and Negotiating Construction Contracts: Advising on industry-standard forms such as JCT, NEC, and FIDIC, as well as drafting bespoke agreements tailored to specific projects. - Development and Infrastructure Projects: Supporting clients on significant commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments, as well as large-scale infrastructure projects such as energy, transport, and public utilities. - Project Delivery and Risk Management: Advising on procurement strategies, contract administration, and risk allocation throughout the project lifecycle. - Transactional Support: Providing construction law expertise in real estate transactions, project finance, and joint ventures, ensuring comprehensive legal support for major developments. - Cross-Border Collaboration: Working closely with the firm's global network to deliver seamless advice on multi-jurisdictional projects, leveraging international expertise. - Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on their most critical projects.
