Real Estate - Senior Associate A top-tier City law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its dynamic Real Estate team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile projects, primarily for developer clients, while mentoring junior team members and contributing to the team's growth and success. As a Senior Associate, you'll undertake a wide variety of challenging and rewarding work, including: - Landlord and Tenant transactions for developers, including agreements for lease and leases conditional on planning and building out. - Site acquisitions and disposals-handling due diligence, drafting reports on title, and working on elements of contracts and supplemental documents for larger transactions. - Managing property aspects of financing transactions, such as CLLS certificates or title disclosures. - Drafting and advising on option agreements. - Supporting senior fee earners on more complex, large-scale transactions. - Collaborating with other teams in the Real Estate department-construction, tax, planning, and property litigation-on development projects. - Business development and maintaining strong client relationships. - Mentoring and supporting junior team members, including Trainees, Paralegals, and Associates. To succeed in this role, you'll need: - A minimum of 5 years' PQE in Real Estate, qualified in England and Wales. - A strong track record of working with developer clients on a variety of transactions. - Solid technical skills and commercial acumen. - A proactive approach to client relationship management and business development. - Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor and support junior colleagues effectively.
