Property Litigation Solicitor
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Property Litigation Solicitor with at least 4 years PQE to join a highly regarded team in London. The division acts for a diverse range of clients, including NHS organisations, local government, independent health and social care providers, emergency services providers, and primary healthcare providers (GPs, dentists, and pharmacists).
The successful candidate will handle a wide variety of property litigation matters, making a positive impact for clients in the health and public sectors. Some examples of recent cases include:
- Advising on restrictive covenants and easements for site disposals.
- Handling 1954 Act security of tenure matters and lease renewals.
- Managing court actions to remove a 'bed blocker' for an NHS trust.
- Removing squatters from a central London property with an IPO for a charity.
- Conducting court proceedings and arbitrations in GP partnership disputes.
- Advising on a multi-million pound dilapidations dispute.
- Issuing break notices to facilitate estate reorganisation.
- Representing clients in judicial review of planning decisions for clinical unit development.
- Recovering arrears from commercial tenants.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in property litigation.
- Experience handling a broad range of property disputes.
- Strong understanding of litigation processes and excellent client management skills.
- A keen interest in working with clients from the healthcare, public, and not-for-profit sectors.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
