Housing and Property Litigation Solicitor
A leading City of London law firm is seeking a talented Housing and Property Litigation Solicitor to join their highly respected team. The Housing Management & Property Litigation department acts for over 100 Registered Providers (RPs), local authorities, and private landlords across England and Wales, advising on all aspects of housing management and property litigation.
As part of this dynamic team, the successful candidate will:
- Manage their own caseload comprising a mixture of housing and leasehold management and property litigation.
- Handle a wide range of matters including injunctions, possession claims, and disrepair cases.
- Advise on service charge disputes and represent clients before the First-tier Tribunal (FTT).
- Provide non-contentious housing management advice, including drafting policies and procedures for clients.
- Deliver high-quality, practical legal advice to social landlords to help them improve performance and meet their legal obligations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience managing a varied caseload in housing management and property litigation.
- Strong knowledge of housing and leasehold management issues, including disrepair, service charges, and possession proceedings.
- Excellent client care and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
