Role Overview:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Real Estate Finance Associate with 1-2 years PQE to join this leading firm's London office, in the heart of the City. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting clients on a wide range of real estate finance transactions, with a particular focus on those involving cross-border elements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Support: Assist in advising on and managing real estate finance transactions, including acquisition finance, development finance, and refinancing deals.
- Document Preparation: Draft, review, and negotiate finance documents such as loan agreements, security documents, and intercreditor agreements.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and clients across different jurisdictions, ensuring that all transactions comply with both local and international legal standards.
- Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing commercially-focused legal advice that aligns with their business objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify and address potential legal risks associated with real estate finance transactions, offering practical solutions to mitigate those risks.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 1-2 years of PQE with a focus on real estate finance. Experience in handling complex finance transactions and working with financial institutions is essential.
- Qualification: Solicitor qualified to practice in England and Wales.
- International Experience: A strong interest in and understanding of cross-border real estate finance transactions. Prior experience working on international matters is highly desirable.
- Skills: Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for building client relationships and collaborating with international teams.
