Role Overview: This is a fantastic opportunity for a Real Estate Finance Associate with 1-2 years PQE to join this leading firm's London office, in the heart of the City. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting clients on a wide range of real estate finance transactions, with a particular focus on those involving cross-border elements. Key Responsibilities: - Transaction Support: Assist in advising on and managing real estate finance transactions, including acquisition finance, development finance, and refinancing deals. - Document Preparation: Draft, review, and negotiate finance documents such as loan agreements, security documents, and intercreditor agreements. - Cross-Border Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and clients across different jurisdictions, ensuring that all transactions comply with both local and international legal standards. - Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing commercially-focused legal advice that aligns with their business objectives. - Risk Management: Identify and address potential legal risks associated with real estate finance transactions, offering practical solutions to mitigate those risks. Candidate Profile: - Experience: 1-2 years of PQE with a focus on real estate finance. Experience in handling complex finance transactions and working with financial institutions is essential. - Qualification: Solicitor qualified to practice in England and Wales. - International Experience: A strong interest in and understanding of cross-border real estate finance transactions. Prior experience working on international matters is highly desirable. - Skills: Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
