An esteemed international law firm is seeking a highly skilled Property Litigation Senior Associate with 5-7 years PQE to join their prestigious team in London.
This is a prime opportunity for an experienced solicitor to play a pivotal role in managing high-profile cases, mentoring junior associates, and contributing to the firm's continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take the lead on a complex and varied caseload of property litigation matters, including high-value landlord and tenant disputes, development conflicts, property-related contractual issues, and rights of light cases.
- Provide strategic and commercially focused legal advice to a diverse range of clients, including commercial landlords, tenants, developers, and real estate investors.
- Draft and review intricate legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, expert reports, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct thorough legal research and develop robust case strategies to effectively resolve disputes.
- Advocate for clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and other dispute resolution forums.
- Mentor and supervise junior associates, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development.
- Work closely with partners and colleagues across various practice areas to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
- Engage in business development activities to enhance client relationships and contribute to the growth of the property litigation practice.
- Stay abreast of legal developments in property law and share insights with the team to ensure the firm remains at the forefront of the field.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified solicitor with 5-7 years PQE in property litigation.
- Extensive experience managing a broad spectrum of property litigation matters, with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Deep understanding of property law and related legal principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience in mentoring and supervising junior legal staff.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes cases concurrently.
