Construction Associate

An internationally renowned law firm based in the City of London is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Construction Associate with 1-2 years' PQE to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and support a variety of construction cases, including both contentious (litigation, arbitration, adjudication) and non-contentious (contract drafting, advisory) matters. - Provide strategic legal advice to clients on construction projects, risk management, and dispute resolution. - Conduct thorough legal research and prepare high-quality legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and advisory reports. - Assist in representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions to achieve favourable outcomes. - Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver integrated legal solutions and support cross-departmental initiatives. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering exceptional client service and ensuring effective communication throughout the legal process. Qualifications and Experience: - Qualified solicitor with 1-2 years' PQE in construction law. - Experience in managing both contentious and non-contentious construction matters. - Strong understanding of construction law, including relevant legislation, case law, and industry standards. - Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues. - Demonstrated commitment to professional development and staying current with legal and industry trends.
