A prestigious law firm in London is seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Real Estate Associate to join their esteemed team. This role is ideal for a newly qualified solicitor or one with up to 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and high-caliber environment. Key Responsibilities: - Transactional Work: Assist with a wide range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and lease agreements, for a variety of clients such as high-net-worth individuals, businesses, and charities. - Client Interaction: Engage with clients to provide tailored advice, ensuring their real estate needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. - Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence, including title investigation, preparing reports, and managing relevant searches. - Document Preparation: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of real estate documents, including contracts, leases, and ancillary documentation. - Research: Conduct legal research and provide concise, practical advice on complex real estate issues. - Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior associates and partners, contributing to the overall success of the team and the firm. Requirements: - Qualification: Qualified solicitor in England and Wales. - Experience: Newly qualified to 2 years PQE in real estate law, with experience in handling transactions and advisory work. - Skills: Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to legal work. - Client Focus: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, delivering high standards of client care. - Team Orientation: Ability to work effectively within a team, showing a willingness to learn and contribute to team goals. - Commercial Awareness: Understanding of the commercial implications of real estate transactions and the wider property market.
