Construction Lawyer A prestigious City law firm is seeking an experienced Construction Lawyer to join their highly regarded team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to focus exclusively on non-contentious construction work for a diverse client base, including leading UK and international developers, contractors, and investors. You will advise on a wide range of high-profile, non-contentious construction matters, including: - Drafting and Negotiating Contracts: Handling JCT, NEC, FIDIC, and bespoke agreements tailored to complex projects. - Development and Infrastructure Projects: Supporting clients on large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, as well as infrastructure projects in sectors such as energy, transport, and technology. - Project Lifecycle Advice: Advising on procurement strategies, risk allocation, and project delivery, ensuring clients' projects run smoothly from inception to completion. - Transactional Support: Providing construction input for real estate and finance transactions, including due diligence and contract reviews. - Cross-Border Collaboration: Working on multi-jurisdictional projects in conjunction with international partners, ensuring seamless advice for global clients. About You: - 5+ years' PQE in non-contentious construction law, ideally gained at a leading firm. - Strong Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating complex construction contracts and advising on procurement and risk management. - Commercial Acumen: A deep understanding of clients' commercial objectives, with the ability to deliver practical, business-focused advice. - Client Relationship Skills: Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor. - Team Player: A collaborative approach, with experience working in multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects.
