BCL Legal is excited to be acting for a leading national law firm seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor to join its growing team. This position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis with flexible working options, including a fully flexible hybrid working policy. As a Property Litigation Solicitor within this team, you would:
Advise a diverse range of clients, including public and private sector organisations, on contentious property issues across various sectors, including local authorities, registered housing providers, developers, and more.
Handle property litigation cases in UK courts and tribunals, as well as provide broader contentious property advice outside of the litigation process.
Work on high-profile cases in the First-tier and Upper Tribunals and in courts up to the Court of Appeal, with exposure to cases that make or clarify new law.
Contribute to business development and support the team's continued growth through active participation in client relationships and initiatives.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm's offices in Birmingham, Bristol, and Leeds in a supportive and collegial team environment.
To be successful in your application for this Property Litigation Solicitor role, you will have:
A minimum of 2 years PQE in property litigation, with relevant experience in advising on a range of contentious property matters.
Strong technical credentials and excellent drafting skills.
A proactive approach to work and the ability to manage your own caseload effectively.
The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients, demonstrating excellent communication and client management skills.
A keen interest in business development and the ability to foster relationships with clients and intermediaries.
Experience in or an interest in advising on the Building Safety Act 2022 or residential leasehold management work would be advantageous, but not essential.
