The Role
As the Knowledge Lawyer for the Private Client team, you will:
Work closely with the Senior Knowledge Lawyer to support the national team on key areas such as Continuous Improvement, Training, Research & Review, and enhancing the National Profile of the team.
Contribute to the development of shared approaches to client advice, file management, and implementation of best practices within the team.
Collaborate on Pricing & Productivity initiatives, financial management, and the effective use of time.
Assist with innovation initiatives, including the use of AI, data management, and technology within legal service delivery.
Take an active role in training the Private Client team, ensuring the continuous development of technical expertise and client management skills.
Provide resources and know-how to colleagues on legal developments, case law, legislative changes, and best practices in private client law.
Support the team in maintaining and enhancing the firm's national reputation in the private wealth sector, including content creation for digital channels and client updates.
The Person
We are looking for a solicitor or professionally qualified individual with:
At least 4 years of PQE or equivalent experience in the Private Client space.
Strong drafting and written communication skills, with an aptitude for knowledge management and IT systems.
Knowledge of private client law, private wealth, and experience in areas such as contentious private client matters, international law, charities, landed estate work, or advising business owners.
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to improving the legal knowledge and cohesion of the team.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and support colleagues at all levels.
An interest in the evolving role of technology in legal services and a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
