Legal Counsel

Company: Our client is a multinational cybersecurity company providing SaaS (Software as a Service) Cloud and Subscription software solutions to tens of thousands of corporate customers, both directly and indirectly via reseller and partner companies. Their client base includes major financial institutions and other notable bluechip companies. Role - Legal Counsel / Contracts Lawyer: To support the company with legal matters in the EMEA region, the hiring manager seeks to recruit a UK based commercial lawyer / Legal Counsel to assume responsibility for all aspects of in-region contract management and administration. Reporting to the Head of Legal in the US, as part of a global legal function, your duties will include drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of customer facing contracts, to include Software as a Service Agreements (SaaS) for Cloud and Subscription, Master Service agreements and non-disclosure agreements. You will work with the sales and commercial teams to negotiate win-win agreements with customers, partners and resellers. About you: This US based hiring manager is seeking a commercially minded lawyer capable of negotiating Cloud/SasS, software licensing, and other commercial contracts. You should have a can-do attitude and a "deal doer" mindset, and you will ideally have experience of, and/or an interest in, technology, cybersecurity and/or privacy related matters. Ideal applicants are expected to have 1-3 years' PQE however those with more/less experience will be considered. Location: This role of Legal Counsel can be worked fully remotely from anywhere in the UK, and occasional travel to company offices in Greater Manchester and Buckinghamshire will be required from time to time.
