In-house Corporate Solicitor

About out client: Our client is a multinational company with business operations and interests throughout the globe, including Manchester. It provides a range of services to business, consumer and public sector customers. Role - In-house Corporate Solicitor (Corporate Counsel) If you enjoy working on corporate transactions / deals and would like to do the same in-house then this opportunity is worth serious consideration! Working as part of a dedicated in-house legal function, and solely focused on corporate matters, as In-house Corporate Solicitor (Corproate Counsel) you will have the opportunity to undertake a full-suite of corporate and transactional work. Specific duties are likely to include: legal aspects of all M&A, JV, divestment, due diligence, intra-group restructuring and re-org activity undertaken (and considered) by the company on a global basis; involvement in treasury transactions; plus liaising with senior stakeholders and instructing and managing external counsel. You will have involvement at all stages of corporate deals including deal making, decision making, and strategy and planning, and you will do all of this whilst undertaking no time recording, and with the ability to stop the clock. In addition, due to the global nature of the team, you will have exposure to work in both the UK and overseas. About you: Our client seeks to recruit a UK qualified corporate solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE working on corporate deals and transactional matters. You should have experience at a leading commercial law firm, and/or equivalent in-house legal function, and any existing international experience is advantageous. What's on offer?
