THE TEAM - Responsible for overseeing and managing insurance programmes, including Professional Indemnity Insurance and Cyber Insurance, providing critical support to member firms worldwide - The team serves as a key point of contact between insurers, brokers, and the organisation, offering expert guidance on matters related to the insurance programmes and assisting in the development and procurement of additional insurance coverage THE ROLE - The firm are seeking an experienced Senior Insurance Lawyer to join their Global Insurance division - The role involves providing technical insurance support, especially in relation to global insurance programmes and business change initiatives - Working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, risk management professionals, legal teams, insurers, and brokers - Review and analyse insurance policy wording, provide coverage analysis, and support programme design and implementation REQUIREMENTS - The successful candidate will have expertise in financial lines insurance, particularly Professional Indemnity Insurance and Cyber Insurance - Extensive experience in the insurance sector, ideally in a senior role within a professional services organisation, or in a senior position at an insurer (underwriting/claims) or insurance broker (senior client advisory) - Strong understanding of legal concepts relevant to Professional Indemnity and Cyber Insurance - In-depth knowledge of Professional Indemnity and Cyber Insurance products, including policy documentation, coverage issues, and insurance programme design ON OFFER - A dynamic and supportive work environment focused on professional development - A competitive salary and benefits package BCL Legal is an equal opportunities employer.
