Healthcare Solicitor We have a great opportunity for a Healthcare Solicitor to join a well regarded Healthcare division in Yorkshire. The team provide advice on all aspects of healthcare law, including clinical negligence, patient safety, consent to treatment, human rights, child law and mental health. The team is looking for enthusiastic medical negligence litigators to join their growing healthcare claims team in Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be highly motivated to develop their own and firm teams' practices within a supportive environment. The Role - You'll be a Solicitor (or equivalent) with experience managing defendant clinical negligence files - Advising NHS Resolution, their members, healthcare indemnifiers and their insureds - Managing a case load of litigated and pre-litigated claims - Conducting relevant investigations in order to repudiate and/or conclude the claim - Liaise with various parties such as claimants and their solicitors, clients, counsel, experts etc - You'll be expected to achieve financial and chargeable targets - Drafting various documents to include SLA reports and pleadings Requirements - Qualified Solicitor NQ-6 years + PQE (or equivalent) - Experience of clinical negligence/medical malptractice claims - Strong technical ability and knowledge of CPR On offer - Generous holiday allowance of 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays - Agile / working from home options - Healthcare cover - Pension plan - Life Insurance 4 x salary - Progression opportunities
