The Opportunity: As Planning Partner, you will take on a key leadership role in developing the planning function within the firm's Birmingham office. You will work alongside experienced partners across various sectors and enjoy the opportunity to advise clients on a wide range of planning and development matters, including land use, environmental issues, and complex legal challenges. In this role, you will: · Lead and grow the planning practice in Birmingham, helping to shape its future direction. · Advise clients on a broad spectrum of planning law, including negotiating planning and highways agreements, compulsory purchase order advice, and addressing agricultural occupancy conditions. · Work on legal challenges to development, such as public rights of way, village greens, and asset of community value applications. · Build relationships with clients and drive business development both within the firm and externally.
