The firm is seeking a Solicitor with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience to support the growing demand for residential development work. This is an excellent opportunity for solicitors with a background in commercial development who are eager to specialise in residential development, or those already focused on this area. The team works with major names in the housing sector, including the top 10 UK housebuilders, and offers a full-service approach from land acquisition through to disposal. With a reputation for handling large-scale, complex development projects, you will be involved in a variety of high-profile matters, including acquisitions, funding arrangements, collaboration agreements, and urban regeneration. Recent high-profile partner-level hires have created a need for additional junior support to match the growing workload. The Role As a Residential Development Solicitor, your key responsibilities will include: · Advising clients on land acquisitions, disposals, and development agreements, with a particular focus on residential developments across England and Wales. · Supporting housebuilders with funding arrangements, strategic options, and collaboration agreements. · Contributing to large-scale urban regeneration projects and high-profile development schemes, with the opportunity to work on a range of nationally significant projects. · Managing client relationships, offering high-quality legal advice throughout the entire development lifecycle. · Engaging with various stakeholders, including developers, housing associations, and investors, to ensure the successful delivery of residential projects. Candidate Requirements The ideal candidate will have: · 1-3 years PQE in property or real estate law, with a strong desire to specialise in residential development. · Experience working with housebuilders is advantageous, but experience in commercial development will also be considered. · A passion for land acquisition and residential development, with a commitment to becoming an expert in this field. · Strong communication and client management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and foster relationships within a team environment. · A proactive, solution-oriented approach and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
