Employment Solicitor | 1-5 PQE | National Law Firm | Birmingham | Flexible/Remote Working This is a fantastic opportunity for an Employment Solicitor to join a top UK 100 law firm, based in Birmingham with a fully flexible hybrid working policy. Working as part of a large national team, you would the opportunity to work on a mix of high-quality employment matters, including both contentious and advisory work, for an impressive range of Respondent clients across the commercial, healthcare, education, and public sectors. The Role As part of this highly regarded employment team, you will: - Manage your own caseload across a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. - Advise Respondent clients on matters such as: * Employee relations issues, including internal disciplinary, grievance, and capability processes. * Redundancy and restructuring processes, including TUPE advice. * Drafting contracts, policies, and procedures. * Employment Tribunal case management, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, and preparation. * Advising on equality obligations and settlement negotiations. * Support and work collaboratively with partners on more complex matters. -This opportunity will enable you to develop advocacy skills, should this be of interest, while delivering high-quality advice to a varied client base across sectors including healthcare, education, public, and commercial. The Candidate The ideal candidate will be: - A qualified Employment Solicitor with 1-5 years' PQE. - Experienced in a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters. - Confident managing client relationships and working independently or as part of a team. - Advocacy experience is desirable but not essential.
