Commercial Projects (Energy) Solicitor | 1-5 PQE | National Law Firm | Hybrid Working Our client, a well-respected national law firm, is seeking to strengthen its Energy & Resource Management team with the addition of a Solicitor or Associate. The role is suited for a solicitor with a background in commercial contracts, infrastructure, or energy infrastructure. The team is known for its expertise in delivering cutting-edge energy and infrastructure projects, particularly in the context of renewable energy, energy from waste, carbon capture, and decarbonisation. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rapidly growing team that advises both public and private sector clients on high-profile, market-leading projects. The role offers a hybrid working environment with a flexible approach, and you will have the chance to contribute to a variety of innovative energy projects. The Role: As an Energy & Resource Management Solicitor/Associate, you will be involved in a broad range of exciting and impactful work, including: - Supporting on the procurement, development, and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects. - Advising clients on energy projects such as energy from waste, solar PV, battery storage, district heating, and more. - Using your commercial acumen to deliver strategic solutions for both private and public sector clients. - Developing and managing long-term client relationships. - Working closely with senior team members and having exposure to high-profile transactions. Candidate Requirements: The ideal candidate will have: - 1-5 years' PQE. - Experience in commercial contracts, infrastructure projects, or energy infrastructure (direct energy sector experience is not required). - A keen interest in the energy sector with a passion for learning and excelling in this area. - Strong technical skills and the ability to approach complex issues in a pragmatic, commercially focused manner. - The ability to work collaboratively within a team, sharing knowledge and experience. - A flexible approach to working, with the ability to thrive in a hybrid environment.
