This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced privacy lawyer to work within one of the largest and most respected teams in the UK, dealing with high-profile, complex data protection and cybersecurity matters. The Role As a Senior Associate in the Privacy & Data team, you will: - Work within a team of 20 lawyers, including 5 partners, handling complex and high-profile matters across data protection and cybersecurity law. - Engage in a variety of work including global breach response, data protection audits, compliance programs, and cybersecurity advisory. - Gain exposure to sectors such as technology and financial services, although experience in these sectors is not essential. - Develop and hone your business development skills by building and managing client relationships across a wide range of international clients. - Contribute to the team's continued success, with a clear pathway for progression towards partnership. About You To be considered for this role, you will have: - A minimum of 4 years' post-qualification experience in data protection, privacy, or cybersecurity law. - Experience across a variety of data protection and privacy matters, including GDPR compliance, data breaches, and cross-border issues. - A strong interest in working with sectors such as technology and financial services. - A proactive, team-oriented approach and a commitment to providing excellent client service. - Strong business development skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
