BCL Legal is delighted to be working with a leading national law firm seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor to join its growing team in Birmingham or Leeds. This opportunity is offered on a full-time, permanent basis with highly flexible remote working options, allowing for a self-determined working week. The Role
As a Property Litigation Solicitor, you will:
- Advise a wide range of public and private sector clients, including central Government bodies, registered providers of social housing, local authorities, secured lenders, NHS bodies, higher education institutions, property developers, and management companies.
- Handle property litigation cases in UK courts and tribunals, as well as provide contentious property advice outside the litigation process.
- Work on high-profile cases, including those in the First-tier and Upper Tribunals and up to the Court of Appeal level.
- Get involved in new areas of law, such as advising on the Building Safety Act 2022 and residential leasehold management (e.g., forfeiture, service charges, and section 20 consultation).
- Collaborate with a supportive team working across offices in Birmingham, Bristol, and Leeds.
About You
To be considered for this Property Litigation Solicitor position, you will need:
- 1-4 years' post-qualification experience in property litigation.
- Strong drafting and legal analysis skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload.
- A proactive approach to client work and a professional mindset.
- Confidence in working directly with clients and a keen interest in business development.
- A team-oriented attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
