Projects Solicitor - NQ-2 PQE | Top International Law Firm | Birmingham
A leading international law firm is currently looking for a talented Projects & Construction Lawyer with 0-2 years' PQE to join its expanding Projects team in Birmingham. This exciting opportunity offers a broad range of legal work, including infrastructure, energy, real estate, and construction law.
The Role
As a Projects Lawyer, you will:
· Work on complex, large-scale national and international projects, providing legal and advisory services across multiple sectors such as energy, infrastructure, real estate, and construction.
· Engage in both transactional (non-contentious) construction work and broader projects law, gaining experience in areas like infrastructure development, energy projects, and construction financing.
· Work on waste, nuclear, offshore wind, biogas, energy-from-waste power projects, clean and wastewater projects, as well as major PPP projects and financing issues.
· Have the opportunity to develop strong client relationships and be involved in high-profile projects.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will:
· Have completed your training and gained post-qualification experience at a reputable law firm, ideally with experience in infrastructure, energy, or real estate-related transactional construction work. Those with broader corporate or commercial experience wanting to pivot into a projects role would also be of interest.
· Be technically proficient with a strong understanding of construction law and the commercial judgment necessary for this client-facing role.
· Be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Show a genuine interest in developing your career within the Projects & Construction field.
