Role/Team: - This prominent regional firm is looking for a dynamic Property Litigation Lawyer to join its successful team in Birmingham. - You will work with a varied client base, including commercial occupiers, house builders, developers, and landowners, providing expert legal advice on a wide range of property disputes. - The firm prides itself on its partner-led service, ensuring that clients receive tailored advice to suit their individual needs and objectives. As a Property Litigation Lawyer, you will be involved in a broad spectrum of work, including: - Advising landowners on protecting their property from damage, dealing with trespassers, and recovering possession from unlawful occupiers and squatters. - Handling disputes related to unpaid rent, service charges, and enforcement of leasehold covenants. - Assisting tenants with understanding their rights, including assignments, subletting, lease renewals, and termination. - Managing complex disputes, such as boundary disputes, nuisance issues, rights of way, and occupier's liability. - Mediating disputes and, where possible, seeking resolution without the need for litigation. - Representing clients in claims against solicitors, surveyors, or other professionals for negligence in property-related matters. Candidate: - The ideal candidate will have 7+ years' PQE in Property Litigation. - A proven track record of handling a wide range of property disputes, with strong technical knowledge and experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters. - Excellent client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse client base. - A pragmatic approach to resolving disputes, with a focus on achieving the best outcomes for clients.
