Real Estate (Energy and Infrastructure) NQ-3 PQE Associate Solicitor | Leading International Law Firm | Birmingham BCL Legal is pleased to be working with a leading international law firm seeking to recruit a newly qualified (0-3 PQE) Real Estate Lawyer to join their dynamic Property Energy & Infrastructure team in Birmingham. This firm is well-regarded for its exceptional legal services, with a strong presence in key sectors including energy, infrastructure, and real estate. With offices across Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East, they are known for handling complex, multi-jurisdictional matters with a deep understanding of the industries in which their clients operate. The Opportunity: As a newly qualified solicitor, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in a highly specialised area of property law. Working within the firm's nationally recognised Energy & Infrastructure team, you will be involved in high-profile transactions and large-scale projects that are pivotal to the UK's energy and infrastructure sectors. Key Responsibilities: · Engage in a broad range of property work, including development and investment projects, as well as landlord and tenant matters. · Act on significant energy and infrastructure projects, including wind (onshore and offshore), solar, hydro, and nuclear transactions, as well as major infrastructure initiatives like road, rail, and port developments. · Provide legal support to a diverse range of clients, including public authorities, developers, investors, funders, and utility companies. · Work closely with colleagues across the firm's energy and infrastructure sectors, contributing to the success of some of the largest and most complex projects in the UK. · Build and maintain strong client relationships while actively participating in business development. Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will have: · NQ-3 PQE Solicitor in England & Wales, with experience in commercial property law, ideally gained in a City, international, national or large regional practice. · Strong technical legal skills, with commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development. · Excellent communication and organisational skills, along with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. · A keen interest in the energy and infrastructure sectors, with a desire to contribute to high-profile, cutting-edge projects. · Good links to Birmingham.
