Banking/Funding Lawyer - NQ-5 PQE - Market leading firm - Birmingham BCL Legal is delighted to be assisting this market leading law firm seeking to recruit a Banking/Funding Lawyer to join its team in Birmingham. This opportunity is offered on a full-time permanent basis and with flexible working patterns accommodated and hybrid working as standard. The Role As a Banking Lawyer in this team, you would: - Have the opportunity to join a highly regarded team of funding lawyers who are recognised for undertaking high quality work for clients across a range of sectors including housing, local government, health and social care, social business, charities and private sector bodies. - Support on a range of finance matters such as complex funding and finance-related projects including bonds, private placements, revolving credit facilities and joint ventures. - Provide banking support to the firm's corporate and property teams and get involved in wider project work undertaken within the firm. About You To be successful in your application for this Banking Lawyer vacancy, you will have: - Qualified or be approaching qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales. - Ideally a minimum of one training seat in banking/finance and a strong technical skillset with good drafting skills (although candidates who can demonstrate a genuine passion for this area will also be considered). - A good teamwork ethic. - A positive and proactive outlook and a genuine passion for this area of work in these important sectors.
