Senior In-House Counsel

Senior in-house opportunity leading the legal function for Ireland within a multi-million turnover logistics organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a highly respected market leader as part of a large global legal function. Reporting to the Legal Director you will provide legal advice to the Irish business and support its various business streams. You will also work closely with the CEO of that business. The Role: * Support senior management in a number of legal areas including corporate, commercial, competition, procurement and compliance; * Manage all regulatory issues faced by the business; * Support on all M&A activities (including JVs and partnerships) * Draft company policies and procedures; * Considering and reviewing any unusual, complex or high value contracts; * Review and analysis of tenders, contracts, terms & conditions, ancillary documents and other commercial agreements; and * Support the business compliance programme and advise the senior management on corporate governance and ethics and compliance. You: * A qualified solicitor or equivalent (minimum 5 PQE/experience) preferably with in-house experience gained in the logistics or infrastructure sector; * Previous experience of insurance and/or procurement advantageous; This is an opportunity to join a very successful business in a senior management role where development is encourages and support is readily available.
