Senior Legal Counsel (6 month FTC)

6 month fixed-term opportunity with a very well-known North West business: An opportunity has arisen with a UK organisation with interests in property, retail, tech and logistics, for an experienced in-house lawyer who is available to take on a 6 month contract with the possibility of a permanent role thereafter. This is an extremely varied role covering a broad range of work: - Providing commercial legal advice to internal stakeholders, including the executive committee; - Drafting and negotiating agreements including: retail, tech, procurement and supplier agreements; and - Working with the business on corporate transactions, projects and litigation. This role requires a lawyer with at least 5 years experience in commercial law. In-house experience is useful but please do get in touch if you're a more senior commercial solicitor in private practice who would like to make a move in-house. The role is based in Manchester and requires 2-3 days per week in the office. This is an opportunity to work for a household name on a great variety of commercial projects and work.
