Art Law Associate - 2-5 PQE Legal 500 Art Litigation | London | £90,000 - £110,000 The firm / team: · Successful candidates can look forward to joining a leading international firm, specialising in Art & Cultural Property, who are looking to add to their Legal 500-ranked team, at Associate level. · They are considered to be amongst the leading law firms in the UK for Art law, specialising in disputes, for a diverse, wide-ranging client base, and ranked in the Legal 500 for their offering, in London. · You will be joining a specialised team, who handle a broad range of art litigation matters encompassing a range of clients, including public bodies, and private individuals/companies. · This is a hardworking firm, offering a market-leading salary with a reasonable chargeable hours contribution. The role: · As an art lawyer within the team, you can expect to undertake a broad range of work with a supportive collegiate department. · The firm are looking for someone capable of developing into a trusted advisor to their biggest clients. · The work involved will include advising on transactional, advisory, and contentious matters, relating predominantly to, cultural property, auction houses, authenticity verification, artist's rights, as well as forgeries. About you: · Applications are sought from talented Associates from two years' post qualification experience upwards, gained in England & Wales or a similar leading common law jurisdiction. · You will possess strong academics, and a confident understanding of art law and litigation ideally from a Top 50, boutique, or Legal 500 background. · Candidates should have strong organisation skills and a keen interest in joining one of London's most diverse law firms.
