A distinguished national law firm is seeking a talented Associate to join its highly regarded Investment Management practice group. This exciting opportunity is designed for attorneys with 3 to 7 years of experience advising institutional investors on a wide array of sophisticated investment transactions. As part of this team, you'll collaborate with a diverse and dynamic group of attorneys and paralegals, providing strategic counsel to some of the nation's largest and most respected institutional investors. Your clients will include public and private pension funds, high-net-worth individuals and family offices, private and public endowments, universities, sovereign entities, and insurance companies.
The Investment Management practice is cross-disciplinary, allowing you to engage with other key practice areas across the firm. This integrated approach makes the firm's investment management practice one of the most active and respected in the country, offering you an unparalleled platform to grow and deepen your expertise.
As an associate in this role, you'll be expected to handle large, complex transactions with precision, managing multiple projects at once. You'll be a key player in drafting and negotiating a broad spectrum of traditional and alternative investment agreements. Attention to detail, excellent communication, and strong negotiation skills are crucial, as is the ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently when required.

Job Requirements:
3 to 7 years of experience in investment management, fund formation, or related areas;
JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active license to practice law;
Strong academic credentials, along with exceptional analytical, writing, and communication skills;
Client-focused with a professional, responsive demeanor;
Ability to handle significant responsibilities, managing multiple transactions and projects simultaneously with a high level of organization and attention to detail;
Enthusiasm for working within a diverse, collaborative team or independently as needed.
